Today I just wanted to let you know about some things happening in the real estate market and offer you some ways to save some money when you buy or sell. 

I’ve already sold about 82 homes this year, so the market is buzzing along just fine. Just this week I sold a home in 24 hours and for $5,000 over the asking price. It’s a great time to sell in Albany!

Now, something that I’ve noticed recently is that people are using friends or family members when they’re buying or selling homes. I’m sure that your friend has all the best intentions, but I don’t recommend letting them help you buy or sell a home. If the sale goes bad and your friend costs you thousands of dollars, you could very well ruin that relationship. 

As the market continues to heat up, we’re going to see a lot of new and inexperienced agents entering it. Some of these people may be your friends, but that doesn’t mean they also have to be your real estate agent. Don’t muck up your relationship, just use a professional Realtor like myself or someone on my team. Your home is your biggest investment, and we will not forget that when we work with you.
